All of which share the collective vision of Drop City and reflect the COMUNE lifestyle of carefree idealism. “Ce n’est pas la fin du Monde” or “This is Not The End of The World” is a loosely themed group show celebrating life, friendship, optimisism, and individual creative freedom. We are also unveiling the new Drop City logo and will conclude the evening with a performance by special musical guestPLG\VNDR (Plague Vendor).
Drop City was introduced to attract like–minded creative people to the COMUNE artist community, and collaborate on special projects through COMUNE’s clothing brand. With participating artists including Andrew Kuykendall, Krystal South, Noah & Nathan Rice, Ray Gordon, Noel Sinclair Boyt, Wyatt Hull, Devendra Banhart, Mario Wagner, Alana Paterson, Beth Hoeckel, Bryan Schnelle, Jen Wolf, Kealan Shilling, Alex Mertz, Jason Levins, Adam Harteau, PLG\VNDR, Kevin Castanheira, Sam Avery, Alexis Gross, Michael J DeMeo, and Amber & Ashlie Chavez. Just got back from a great trip to Hawaii. A few weeks on the islands will rejuvenate your soul will the Aloha spirit! Lot’s of fun hills to get your cruise on… Sunrise at Haleakala, Maui. Camped on the side of the volcano and hiked up to a loan peak at 4 A.M. to get this stunning view. It was freezing cold in paradise. Dare I say it was a spiritual experience at 10,000 ft. Scored some fun waves And some killer sights Camped out on our 3 acres on the Big Island. We built this tree platform a few years ago in the jungle as a base camp for island exploration. The local boys in Hana, Maui were super cool and shared some irie times and waves. Mahalo dudes! A nice reminder… Emily likes to smile!
